We offer part time or full time Au Pairs as well as Governesses.

Once you have made the decision to employ an au pair and have filled in the family application forms, we will send you up to 3 suitable candidate profiles, you can choose to interview one or all 3. We guarantee that we have personally interviewed all our candidates as well as run extensive character and reference checks on each Au Pair. We will then set up interviews for you, at your home or office. We will contact you the next day to get feedback. In the unlikely event that you are not 100% satisfied with any of the candidates we have sent you, we will gladly send you more.

 Au Pairs

  • Face to face interviews with all candidates

  • Character & Child care references check

  • ID & Drivers License validation

  • Diploma/Degree Verification (where applicable)

 Families

  • Consultation with the family via e-mail or telephone. 

  • Just Like Mom will forward you up to 3 potential candidate CV’s and you can decide which ones you would like to interview

  • We will arrange the interviews on your behalf.

  • Coordination of the contract between you and the candidate if required. Not only is it required by law to have a contract between employer & employee but is very important so that both you and the au pair know what is expected and both parties are protected.

  • Continued customer service, should you or your au pair have any queries we can be contacted at all times –we offer this service to all our clients and au pairs as an added extra, should you have any queries regarding child care, nutrition, discipline, medicine or anything else, we will gladly assist you.

  • Our quality guarantee extends for a period of 60 days from start date. If during this period, an au pair decides to leave her family, Just Like Mom undertakes to replace the candidate free of charge, provided that the placement fee was paid within 7 days of the date of initial invoice. If the Au Pair leaves after 60 days but before 12 months then we offer an extended guarantee, where we will discount your next placement accordingly.
