I listed with every single agency in the Johannesburg area in order to find an au pair that was a “cut above the rest.” Just Like Mom seemed to be the only agency that understood my requirements, realized what I was truly looking for and took the time to find the perfect match. Her candidates were of a much higher calibre than most of the agencies out there and I was impressed. Communication was consistent and the candidate’s portfolios that were emailed were very thorough and I liked the addition of the photo in order to see the au pair prior to the interview – brilliant idea! During my endeavor to find a suitable au pairing agency, I stumbled upon a website called ‘Just Like Mom’.  I liked the idea that ‘Just Like Mom’ were interested in interviewing me first and compiling a portfolio about me as this ensured that I, as well as my background and qualifications would be clearly and well presented to any au pair family that would be interested in employing me.  To cut a long story short, at the end of 2009 ‘Just Like Mom’ found me the most perfect au pairing job any one could ask for.  I now work in Dunkeld.  I look after an 18 month old little boy, Alexander.  Working for this family has been a huge learning experience for me not only in the area of working with a young child but also in general. The family are the kindest and most generous people I have ever met.  I am thoroughly enjoying working with Alexander.  I started au pairing for Olivia  on the 1^st of June 2009. I have not had a lonely day since then. Rozanne started with us in January 2010 and we have never looked back. I can not say she became part of the family. It is as if she has always been there. She loves my girls and they love her. She has become a close friend to me and there is nothing I would not do for her.

She has given me a bit of my life back. I no longer speed my way home from Sandton to the South of Joburg, trying to be on time for some extramural. I no longer suffer the hideous guilt of picking up my little one at 6pm, when she is the last one left at the school. When I get home, the extra murals are done, the homework is done, there has been some rest time and the girls are ready to spend some quality time with me. There is no more screaming and fighting about hurrying up and taking bath, eating, brushing teeth and getting into bed. The blur of the evening rush has slowed down and now I actually get to enjoy it again.

Rozanne is everything I never imagined and so much more. I think that as a family we are truly blessed to have been given an angel to spread her wings and share the power of her love and kindness on us. TINA, Bassonia

Hi my name is Rozanne Zeelie and I am the very lucky au pair for two beautiful little girls, Caitlin and Emma - May.These two girls are close to my heart and I would do anything to protect them and make them happy and feel loved.  They deserve every drop of love they can get.

I applied for an au pair position in November 2009 and was lucky enough to get an email reply on my application the same evening.  I was so excited that I could not wait to meet Monique and see what challenging au pair position she had for me.  A few days later I had an appointment to be interviewed by Monique.  She immediately had two positions that she wanted to send my CV to and I was eager to see what the response would be.  A week later I had an interview.  The next morning I got the great news of being accepted for the position.  Monique is very efficient and professional.  She has a passion for children and au pairs, and it shows in the manner in which she deals with an au pair like me.  I am very satisfied and grateful that I applied for the position at Just like Moms as I could not ‘see’ myself represented by any other au pair agency.   ROZANNE, Bassonia
